Act Promptly -- Delay Could Reduce Any Recovery

In an action or lawsuit under FLSA, a successful claimant or plaintiff may be able to recover alleged unpaid overtime compensation for a limited time period, called the "statute of limitations" period. This period is usually two years, but it can be increased to three years if a court finds that an employer "willfully" violated provisions of FLSA.
